Ronald Rosenstein Assumes Board Leadership

Ron Rosenstein-Board of Directors CMHC

The Board of Directors of Northwest Community Bank recently elected Ronald S. Rosenstein Chairman of the Board. Ron had previously served as Vice Chairman. Subsequently, he also was elected Chairman of the Board of Connecticut Mutual Holding Company, of which Northwest Community Bank is a member.

Ron became a director Northwest Bank for Savings in 1988 and was involved in its evolution to Northwest Community Bank. Through the years, he has served in many committee capacities at the bank. Ron was a private attorney in Winsted and has been active in the Winsted community and the region nearly forty years. He is currently a board member of Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation.

He is a co-founder and past president of the Winsted Area Child Care Center and a past president of the United Way of Northwest Connecticut. Ron served as chairman of the Winchester Ethics Commission and was a member of Greenwoods Scholarship Foundation. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Winsted and a recipient of the Paul Harris Award.

Ron and his wife, Ruth (Rudy), reside in New Hartford. Northwest Community Bank is a mutually owned state-chartered bank, headquartered in Winsted, Connecticut since 1860. In addition to Winsted’s Main Office, the bank has branches in Avon, Granby, New Hartford, and Torrington; and an academic branch at Northwestern Regional High School in Winsted.
